Recipe for making plum sauce for the winter.

Ripe plums

The cooking technology is simple. Wash the plums and separate them from the pits.

Place the prepared fruits in a saucepan, fill it 20 percent with water and cook until the fruits are softened (5-10 minutes).

Grind the resulting mass through a sieve.

Place the ground mass in a saucepan and add sugar; for 900 grams of mass, add 100 grams of sugar.

Stir the almost finished sauce and boil for 3-5 minutes.

Then, pour it into jars and sterilize.

We disinfect jars according to the following calculation: half-liter jars - 15 minutes, and liter jars - 20. We immediately roll up hot jars with sterilized sauce.
