But what am I talking about, because both adults and children love them, just like a delicious pickle in winter. This is a classic recipe for preparing tomatoes for the winter in a cold way. It is light, simple and tasty, and its preparation requires a minimum of ingredients, effort and resources.

Ingredients for pickling green tomatoes.

To prepare 10 kilograms of unripe tomatoes take:

dill – 2 bushes;

tarragon - 1 bush;

hot pepper – 1 – 2 pods;

black currant - several leaves;

parsnip;

horseradish;

celery and parsley.

Place the washed tomatoes in a container for pickling, not forgetting to add spices.

Pour brine over the tomatoes. Fill riper fruits with stronger brine. But you don’t have to use brine as such at all - just sprinkle the tomatoes with salt. Over time, they will release juice and you will get salted tomatoes in their own juice.

Seal the jars with pickled tomatoes loosely with lids, and put wooden mugs in another container and press them on top with something heavy, maybe a stone.
