How to cook lingonberries in their own juice with honey.
Sort out the lingonberries. Separate good, ripe, undamaged berries from small, overripe and bruised ones.
First, prepare the berry filling. Wash the crumpled raw materials, place them in a colander and wait a while for the water to drain.
Place on a baking sheet and keep in the oven until the lingonberries soften.
The berries need to be cooled and rubbed through cheesecloth or a sieve.
Add honey. The number of parts of ground berries should be taken 2 times more than honey, i.e. 2:1.
Mix everything thoroughly until smooth.
Then, fill the jars with good berries (washed and dried on a towel) up to the shoulders.
Pour the berry filling up to the neck, shaking constantly so that the empty spaces are better filled.
The lingonberry preparation is ready without cooking, all that remains is to cover it with lids.
