So how can you prepare this healthy berry for the winter? Let's try to make candied watermelon with lemon, and a step-by-step recipe with photos will help us with this.

- a large watermelon and an equally large knife;

- 1.5 kg of sugar;

- 1 lemon;

- 1 glass of water;

- powdered sugar.

After everything is eaten, we begin to prepare the candied fruits. Peel off the pink and dark green layers from the crusts.

Make syrup from 1.5 kg of sugar and a glass of water.

Cut the peeled watermelon rinds into cubes at least 1 cm thick.
