Candied cherries - recipe. How to make candied cherries for the winter at home.
Candied fruits require a long cooking time, although the recipe itself is very simple. Making delicious candied cherries is not difficult. See recipe below.

Ingredients: 1 kg of cherries, 2 kg of sugar.
Syrup: 400 grams of sugar 2 glasses of water.
How to cook candied fruits
Pour boiling sugar syrup over clean cherries. Set aside for 2 days. Separate the syrup in a colander, add another 400 grams of sugar, boil, pour over the cherries again and set aside for 2 days. Repeat this 4 more times. For the last procedure, leave for 10 days. Afterwards, pour into a colander and leave for 2 hours. Dry the cherries on a sieve in the oven at 40°C. Sprinkle the finished candied fruits with powder. Store in an airtight container. Candied fruits are very healthy; they can easily replace sweets.
