To make jam at home we need:
- 2 kg pumpkin pulp,
- 3 kg sugar,
- 2 glasses of water.
To make jam, cut the pulp into approximately equal cubes (cm by cm), blanch them in boiling water (3-4 minutes is enough), quickly lower them into a container with very cold water, then remove.
Prepare a syrup from half the recipe amount of sugar and water, pour it into the pumpkin mixture, and after boiling, cook for a few more minutes. Cool, add another 1.5 kg of sugar, boil again and leave overnight. Boil a third time and immediately place in the prepared container.
