And so, for 500 grams of ripe lingonberries we need - ½ kilogram of apples (preferably summer, sweet varieties, the so-called “cinnamon” varieties, Antonovka or Anis), 1300 grams of sugar and a glass of water.
How to make lingonberry jam with apples for the winter.
To begin with, we will prepare lingonberry berries, select well-ripened ones without damage, and then wash and blanch them.
Next, let's prepare the apples: peel the peel, cut out the core and seeds with a sharp knife, chop the apples into small slices (approximately 7-8 mm in size). Prepared apple slices also need to be blanched for a couple of minutes.
At the next stage of preparing our assortment, pour the berries and fruits into a cooking container, then fill them with pre-prepared sugar syrup.
Next, boil the lingonberry jam over low heat until cooked.
At the end of cooking, transfer the assortment into sterile glass jars, seal with lids and store in a cool, dry place.
