It grows mainly in open areas near the forest, where there is a lot of sun. Every summer our whole family goes and picks strawberries. Every year we make jam according to the same recipe, preserved from my great-grandmother. The recipe is unique in that the preparation prepared according to it charges with energy and gives a person the vitality to start life from scratch. The components of the preparation are very simple: for 1 kg of wild berries you need to take 1.2 kg of sugar.
How to make wild strawberry jam
Before making wild strawberry jam, you need to sort it out and remove the stems.
The stalks can be dried, then poured boiling water and drunk for high blood pressure.
We sorted out the strawberries from the garbage, rinsed the berries in warm water and poured them into a basin where we will make the jam.
Add sugar, mix and leave for 3 hours. During this time, the strawberry should give juice.
After three hours, set to cook on low heat.You need to stir constantly so that the jam does not burn. When all the sugar has dissolved and the jam has boiled, time it for 8 minutes.
Exactly enough time is needed for the jam to cook until done. Turn off the gas and wait for the berry to cool. Pour into jars.
Store delicious wild strawberry jam in a cool place. It can be stored for up to 5 years without spoiling.
