It turns out to be a beautiful, jelly-like jam. Very tasty and unusual. The recipe is simple, it just takes two days to prepare.
Ingredients:
mint leaves with stems - 300g,
sugar - 1kg,
lemon - 1 piece,
water - 0.5 l.

Wash the lemon, chop finely without removing the peel. Shredded mint and add lemon to boiling water. Cook for 10 minutes and set aside for a day.
The next day, strain the broth and add sugar. Cook until done, 35-40 minutes. Pour hot into jars and roll up.
Sometimes I make a slightly amended recipe, although I will need a second lemon. The principle is the same, the only thing is that on the second day of cooking, finely chopped (preferably grated) zest of a second lemon is added to the broth.
