red currants (porichka) - 1 kg.
Well, now the technology itself, how to cook, or rather, prepare currant jam. We will describe the preparation of cold redcurrant jam in detail and step by step.
We sort through and wash the berries.
Let the water drain.
Grind the berries with a blender or pass through a meat grinder.
If you want to get rid of seeds and other hard pieces as much as possible, you can rub the resulting puree through a sieve.
Add sugar and mix.
Cold berry jam must be stirred until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Preparing jam without cooking, although very simple, does not take five minutes, because... It will take some time for the sugar to dissolve. But the advantage is that you can’t interfere all the time, but between times.
