Delicious dried cherries, prepared at home very simply. See the recipe below.

Ingredients: 1 kg cherries, 500 g sugar

For syrup: 350 g sugar and water.

How to cook

Wash the cherries, remove the pits. Cover with sugar and leave in a warm place for a day (up to 22°C). Place the cherries in hot syrup and boil for 7 minutes. Cool. Drain the syrup through a sieve. Dry the berries on a mesh baking sheet in the oven at 85°C for about 30 minutes. Repeat the drying procedure 2 times. Leave in a dark place for a week.

Dried cherries can be used in a variety of dishes, drinks and desserts. It is quite tasty and in normal use, it resembles raisins.
