How to pickle carrots for the winter in a jar.
Pickling carrots begins by boiling 2 kg of approximately the same, small-sized peeled carrots for five minutes after boiling.
Remove seeds from 1 kg of ripe pepper. No need to cut finely. To prepare, you need to use whole peppers or cut them into halves.
At the same time, put water on the fire. For the specified amount of vegetables we will need 2 liters. Add 2 tablespoons of salt there and boil the solution for three minutes.
Next, fold the carrots tightly or place them vertically in a three-liter jar. Add a whole (or halves) prepared sweet bell pepper, half a head of garlic and a couple of celery sprigs on top.
Add the now cooled saline solution to the jar and cover it with a plastic lid.
For the first 24 hours, we leave the workpiece in the room, and then we send it to be stored in any cool place convenient for you: a cellar or even in the refrigerator.
