This spicy sweet pepper seasoning is not difficult to prepare; it can be stored for a long time—all winter. Although, it is so tasty that it doesn’t last until the end of winter. Absolutely everyone in my house loves it. Therefore, I am presenting my homemade recipe here for you.

How to make pepper and tomato relish at home.

Wash the bell pepper thoroughly, remove the green tail and seed box, cut into small pieces.

Wash the tomatoes, cut them slightly, put them in boiling water for a short time, remove the skins, cut into large slices.

Also, cut the onion into slices.

Place all the vegetables in a saucepan, add vinegar, then simmer over low heat. There is no need to close the lid.

The seasoning is ready when the mixture thickens and excess moisture evaporates.

At this stage, add sugar, salt and spices to the boiled mass, simmer until the sugar dissolves, which is about 10 minutes. To avoid burning, stir the seasoning constantly.

When hot, transfer the seasoning into jars.

Amount of products needed for preparing pepper preparation: sweet bell pepper - 2 pcs., ripe tomatoes - 2-3 pcs., onions - 3 pcs., wine vinegar - ½ cup, sugar - 1 cup; salt, ground black pepper, dry mustard 1 teaspoon each, ground red pepper - ¼ teaspoon.spoons, cloves crushed on the tip of a knife.

The resulting hot pepper seasoning is tasty and practical; it will serve as an excellent addition to a fair number of dishes.
