Delicious apricot jam - an unusual recipe for aromatic jam made from pitted and skinless apricots.
Apricots are a common fruit in our area and every family has a signature recipe for apricot jam. This unusual old family recipe was taught to me by my mother, and by her grandmother. It is quite simple and light, but in winter you can enjoy it yourself and treat your guests with aromatic apricot jam.

Apricots need to be boned and peeled, only then weighed. We will need 400 g.
You need to put them on a dish and pour boiling water over them, let them stand covered for 5 minutes, then peel off the skin.
To prepare the syrup, you need to dissolve 800 g of sugar in 1 glass of hot water.
After bringing the syrup to a boil, add pitted and skinned apricots into it.
Cook the jam over low heat. When the jam is ready, the syrup becomes transparent.
Then, the beautiful and fragrant apricot jam needs to be cooled and poured into sterile jars carefully so as not to damage the fruit.
Roll up or simply cover with a lid.
Apricot jam according to this recipe will be very tasty, beautiful and healthy. It is better to store it in a cellar, cool dark room or refrigerator.
