How to pickle lard in brine deliciously
Initially I cook the brine. Pour all the spices into a boiling liter of water and boil for 2 minutes. I leave it to cool. To speed up the pickling process, the brine can be prepared in advance.
I clean the fat from dirt with a knife.
And I cut it into pieces 7 cm long. I put it in a clean jar.
I fill it with cooled brine.
Without covering with a lid, I leave it in the room for a day, then I put it in the cold. After 3 days, the lard in brine with spices will be salted and ready for use. For further storage, salted lard must be removed from the brine and placed in the freezer. I take it out of the freezer as needed.
Slightly frozen lard is very easy to cut. For a variety of taste sensations, I serve mustard or adjika with salted lard.My family came up with an interesting seasoning made from soy sauce, vinegar and barbecue spices for their favorite lard in brine. All ingredients are taken to taste. Try cooking it too.
