Delicious raw peach jam - a simple recipe
Candies? Why do we need sweets? Here we are…indulging in peaches! 🙂 Fresh raw peaches with sugar, prepared for the winter in this way, will give real pleasure in winter. In order to safely enjoy the taste and aroma of fresh aromatic fruits during the gloomy and cold seasons of the year, we will prepare peach jam for the winter without cooking.
A step-by-step recipe with photos will help you make the preparation quickly and easily. I note that it is possible, and indeed necessary, to involve younger family members in the process of preparing this preparation. When I make raw peach jam, I simply can’t stop eating them. 🙂
We will need:
- peaches – 1 kg;
- sugar – 1 kg.
How to make peach jam without cooking
For this preparation, we select very ripe fruits.
We choose a variety that allows the skin to peel off well and the pit to separate. Wash the peaches gently and remove the skin. During processing, spots may appear on the pulp from pressing - this is not a big deal.
Separate the peach pulp from the pits.
We crush the peaches in a blender, after cutting them into smaller pieces. If you don't have a blender, you can use a regular meat grinder.
The resulting peach puree does not have to be completely homogeneous; small pieces of peach are permissible.
Dissolve sugar in puree.
Peach puree is packaged in clean, preferably sterile, banks.
We store this so-called raw dog jam in the refrigerator. As you can see, I already have jam without cooking and from raspberries in stock. 🙂
In winter, sweet and aromatic dog puree with sugar will not only be a decoration, but also a delicious addition to homemade desserts. Just like a bright and pleasant greeting from the hot summer. 🙂 And children will eat cottage cheese with fresh peaches with great pleasure if they took part in their preparation.
