Ingredients needed for making jam:
peaches – 1 kg
sugar – 1.2 kg
water – 1.5 cups (1 cup = 200 ml)
How to make delicious peach jam for the winter.
To prepare aromatic peach jam, choose fairly ripe, strong fruits.
Wash the selected peaches, pour over boiling water, peel the skin, divide into halves, and carefully remove the pit. To make beautiful slices when cooking, you need to cut half of the fruit lengthwise into 4 equal parts.
Boil sugar syrup from 1200 grams of sugar and 300 ml of water.
Pour hot syrup over peeled peaches and soak in it for 4 hours.
After 4 hours, bring to a boil, simmer for about four minutes, leave to cool for another 4 hours.
