Delicious pumpkin jam with orange, quick and tasty
Homemade pumpkin jam with orange turns out to be a beautiful warm color and warms you with its insanely aromatic sweetness in the cold winter. The proposed recipe consists of simple but healthy ingredients, is easy to prepare and stores well.

For one liter of jam you will need the following ingredients:
1 orange;
500 g pumpkin;
2 cups sugar;
2 liters of water.
How to make pumpkin and orange jam at home
Take the pumpkin and cut it into small cubes.
You can use both fresh and previously frozen. Place the pieces in a three-liter saucepan.
Peel the orange. Finely chop and add to the pumpkin. The size of the pieces is visible in the photo.
If you like bitterness, you need to add finely grated orange or lemon zest.
Fill the contents of the pan with cold water and place on the stove. Cook for about 30 minutes. Halfway through cooking, add sugar and stir until completely dissolved. For long-term storage, it is important that the proportion of sugar and pumpkin mass is 1:1.
The finished pumpkin jam is thick, but with small pieces of pumpkin and oranges. If necessary, puree the contents of the pan with a blender until smooth.
Roll pumpkin and orange jam into sterilized jars.
It is recommended to store the workpiece in the basement or in the refrigerator. It can be served on its own and is also great for decorating desserts and as a filling for a sweet pie.
