Delicious salad of ten from eggplants with apples for the winter
So that during the long, dull winter you do not miss the bright and warm sun with its useful and generous gifts, then you will certainly need an unusual and very tasty canned food under the mathematical name Ten.

But I offer you not an ordinary eggplant salad, but a dozen eggplants with apples. This preparation will certainly please everyone, surprising you with its original taste, and a dull winter meal will turn into a pleasant event. I invite everyone, using my simple recipe with step-by-step photos, to make a delicious ten salad for the winter.
To prepare the preparation, which is also called “All 10”, you need to prepare:
- 10 sweet red peppers;
- 10 eggplants;
- 10 medium-sized onions;
— 10 durum apples;
- 2 heads of garlic;
- 400 ml vegetable oil;
- 160 ml 9% vinegar;
— 500 ml of water;
- 70 grams of salt;
- 150 grams of sugar.
How to make a ten salad for the winter with apples
Vegetables must be washed first. Next, we peel the garlic, cut out the stalk of the pepper, remove the peel from the eggplants, and remove the core from the apple.
Cut the eggplants into large pieces, rub them with salt and put them under a press to release the bitterness. After half an hour, rinse in water and let it drain.
Divide the apples and onions into 4 parts, cut the pepper into wide strips.

Now, let’s prepare the filling for our ten: pour water, oil, vinegar into a cauldron, add salt and sugar, and bring to a boil.
Pour all the vegetables into the marinade and cover the cauldron with a lid.
Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally for 35 minutes. Mix carefully so that the vegetables retain their shape. It will immediately seem that there is not enough syrup, but during the cooking process the vegetables will release juice. The photo below shows what the workpiece looks like before putting it into jars.
Pour hot salad into pre-sterilized jars, roll up with a sterilized lid, then turn over and wrap in a warm blanket.
From the declared amount of products you should get about 6 liters of a delicious Ten salad of eggplants with apples.
