This is not a labor-intensive and simple homemade recipe that will not leave apple lovers indifferent. You don’t need a lot of time to prepare it, and the result will certainly please your loved ones.
And so - the apples need to be washed, peeled, and, being sure to remove the middle, cut into pieces.
Then, transfer the apple slices into a saucepan with a small amount of water and simmer over low heat until they thicken.
We pass the resulting preparation through a sieve and add cumin seeds (can be ground into powder) at the rate of one tablespoon of cumin per kilogram of puree.
Knead the resulting mass thoroughly until smooth, and then put it on a thick linen napkin, put it under pressure and set it aside for 72 hours (approximately three days).
After the allotted time has passed, we take the apple “cheese” out from under pressure, rub it with sunflower oil and roll it thoroughly in cumin seeds.
It is better to store our unusual homemade preparation in a cool place.
