The proposed recipe is so simple and easy to prepare that it will not take you much time.
Required ingredients:
orange juice – 1 l
sugar – 1 kg
gelatin – 10 g
lemon juice - to consumer's taste
How to make jelly from oranges - tasty, transparent and tender.
Wash and remove the zest from ripe, dent-free oranges.
Squeeze the juice from the orange pulp and strain through double cheesecloth to separate the juice from the pulp.
Add half the sugar and cook over high heat, stirring with a spatula. Boil like this for about three minutes.
Add the remaining sugar and let simmer for another two minutes.
Turn off the stove and pour in the gelatin, previously soaked in one glass of water and the required amount of lemon juice squeezed out.
Now you need to quickly pack the hot orange jelly into dry jars and sterilize the 0.5-liter jars for 25-30 minutes.
Seal with lids. There is no need to turn the jars over.
It is better to store in a dark place, the shelf life is one year.
