Our preparation of green unripe tomatoes with seasonal vegetables is another option for preparing a delicious salad for the winter. It’s easy to prepare even for a young novice housewife. All you need is to prepare the necessary products and not deviate from the technology specified in the recipe.
Thus, we can prepare a winter salad from green tomatoes if we have: unripe tomatoes - 3 kg, orange carrots - 1.5 kg, white onions - 1.5 kg.
How to prepare green tomatoes for the winter as a delicious salad.
I always cut vegetables into thin slices, preferably of the same shape.
Next, they need to be sprinkled with salt (100 g is enough), carefully mixed in a saucepan and covered with a napkin.
After ten to twelve hours, when juice appears under the vegetables, pour the pre-cooked hot marinade into the salad. Cook it from sunflower oil (300 ml), vinegar 6% (200 ml), sugar (300 g). When preparing it, add 6 pcs for flavor. black pepper and 6 pcs. laurel leaves.
Now, it’s time to put the pan with the juiced vegetables and marinade on the fire.
